A Mid-Autumn Moon Celebration: Photography

.⋆。⋆༶⋆˙⊹

The Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated across East Asia, around the harvest moon period. This fall, I had the privilege of celebrating the festival at the Huntington Gardens in California. I participated in traditions such as moon gazing, lantern making, and eating moon cakes with friends and family. Vibrant music was heard all around; a strings ensemble and jazz band blessed the garden with their music. The air had a golden aura as if Chang’e herself— the moon goddess —was watching. Through photography, I hope to share my experience with you all!
